Extreme is a difficulty in JToH that is represented with the color light blue. This difficulty level is the 2nd difficulty level that falls into the soul-crushing category. Obstacles in towers of this difficulty are harder than those in Insane. The obstacles here are harder than those in Insane, and require more skill than Insane towers. There are currently 3 towers in the game assigned to this difficulty rating. Tower of Frightening Nightmares and Tower of Elongated Runs used to be here, but they were moved to harder difficulties. Tower of Thinning Layers used to be here, but got moved to Insane.
